One of the symbols of the month of Ramadan is the pita, as we all know. So how do we eat the pita?

- A slice of bread corresponds to 25 grams. When you eat 1-2 knuckles from a pita with a lot of dough, you will eat a slice of bread. Eat only one knuckle from a very thick pita. Since the pita is made of white flour, it quickly gets into the blood, which can cause blood sugar to rise rapidly.

- In Sahur, be sure to choose whole wheat and whole rye bread as they will stay in the stomach longer. Do not consume pita in sahur.

-When the hot pita is open, it is consumed abundantly, do not lose control.

Suggestions for Thirst During Ramadan;

Always drink 4-5 glasses of water at Sahur. You can add fresh mint leaves and 2-3 drops of lemon. Mint; both prevents the formation of bad breath and quenches thirst. You can prevent thirst by consuming sugar free compote and compote at Sahur.

It is not a very correct approach to say “don't eat dessert” in Ramadan. But; If you load on dessert for a long time after starvation, then problems will arise, you will unconsciously play with the balance of your body and invite many diseases. Stay away from sherbet, dough and many sugary desserts at iftar meals. It should be enough for you to consume a small portion of ice cream, rice pudding, and rose-like light milk desserts as a snack after iftar.
