A new breast shape is created by removing the excess breast tissue and skin in line with the patient's expectation. There are different surgical techniques applied for this purpose. In the breasts that are not too big after the operation, there are only circular marks around the nipple, and in the very large breasts, in addition, there are scars that become obscured in the form of the reverse fold in the chest fold line.
Mastopexy surgery is performed in chest sagging with sufficient breast tissue. In this surgery, the existing breast tissue is preserved and only the relaxed and sagging skin is removed and the breast is erected. In those who do not have enough breast tissue and have sagging breasts, breast lift surgery is performed with silicone prosthesis.
Surgery and After
Chest surgeries are performed under general anesthesia. The patient is recommended to stay in the hospital for 1 night on the day of surgery. Patients do not have any significant pain related to surgery. The next day, the patient is discharged and sent home. In general, patients can return to their daily lives within 2-3 days. 10 days after the surgery, all dressings are removed and left open, and the person is completely back to normal life.
