Risk factors

The advancement of age in men, especially the presence of this disease in the 1st degree of the person, increases the risk of prostate cancer. The risk increases for people working in workplaces where cadmium is found. Cadmium (Cd) substance is used in tire industry, asphalt works, production of nickel-cadmium batteries.

Prostate Cancer Symptoms

Can bone pain be a symptom of prostate cancer?

Prostate cancer usually does not show any symptoms in the early stages. When symptoms appear, cancer is usually advanced. The symptoms are the same as signs of benign prostatic enlargement. When it is very advanced, that is, if it spreads to the environment and other organs, the following symptoms can be seen:

• Bleeding in urine,
• Bloody semen arrives,
• Depending on the spread of cancer; Bone pain may occur in the lower back, hip bones or other parts.

Early Diagnosis in Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer can be diagnosed early, so the patient has a high chance of treatment. Even if he has no complaints, all men after 45 should be evaluated in terms of prostate cancer once a year. Prostate examination to be performed by a urologist physician, early diagnosis is possible with prostate biopsy in patients who need PSA analysis.
