BALLOON TUBOPLASTY OPERATION STARTED.

"Balloon Tubaplasty Operation" in our Medilife Beylikdüzü Hospital Assoc. Dr. It started to be implemented by Cenk EVREN.
Eustachian tube is a new method for the treatment of dysfunction disorder. There is no surgical incision during this procedure.

How is Balloon Tuboplasty Applied?

Under anesthesia, the balloon is used to expand the patient's Eustachian tube. To do this, the surgeon inserts a balloon catheter through the nose and into the cartilage part of the eustachian tube. The balloon is then inflated to create 10 bar pressure over a two minute period, and the contraction in the tube widens. This dilation restores the proper tube functions, providing the normal air exchange and pressure compensation procedure.

The success rate in this operation has been determined as 85%.
