Medilife Health Group, our patients who come with sleep complaints are subjected to a sleep test called “polysomnography” after being interviewed with patients who are referred from the ear-nose-throat, neurology, psychiatry, internal diseases, cardiology, chest diseases outpatient clinics.

Testing is not required for every patient with sleep disorders. The sleep test without a physician's assessment is not recommended in clinical practice. For example, when the patient with insomnia comes for the night test; sleep testing is meaningless since it cannot sleep at night. Or a patient with restless leg syndrome will not be able to sleep before being treated. Therefore, the test to be performed will not be beneficial, as the dormant diseases cannot be diagnosed.

Our Sleep Laboratory within the Medilife Health Group has all the necessary criteria for the comfort of our patients. The most important of these are; the room is quiet and big enough, the patient has a different decoration from the hospital environment to feel comfortable, and the toilet and bathroom are also inside the room.
While our patients sleep during the examination, they are followed by the sleep technician from the shooting room. There is an audio and video connection to enable communication between the two rooms when the patient needs it. The following day, these records are evaluated by our physicians dealing with sleep medicine, considering the nighttime pathologies and the patient's complaints.

Realized in our Sleep Laboratory; sleep test evaluation can be done by Chest Diseases specialist, ENT specialist and Neurology specialist physicians.

While chest diseases specialist and ENT specialist undertake the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related diseases, Neurology specialist can also evaluate all sleep related diseases.
