Family Medicine specialty education covers the branches of General Surgery, Gynecology-Obstetrics and Psychiatry, mainly in Internal Medicine and Child Health and Diseases in a period of 3 years after graduation.

The family doctor is responsible for the health, health problems and diseases of all family members, from the fetus in the womb to the oldest family. For the problems that exceed primary health care, other specialists take the role of coordinator by directing the patient to people such as dentists, dieticians. Therefore, the health advisor of the registered persons is also the person who guides them in this regard and defends their rights.
