Cem Karabay, the World Record Holder of the “Aquarium Man”, who has been given the title “The Man Who Lived Under the Water for the Longest Time”, was stopped to prevent dangerous and serious health problems due to some world record problems he tried on Sunday (April 24th). The attempt to break the "Longest Living in the Cold Sea" World Record, which belongs to Daniel Sammut with 13 hours and 22 minutes, with 14 hours, was terminated after 2 hours and 45 minutes due to the diving suit getting water. Cem Karabay, who made a record attempt due to this misfortune in cold water, was predicted that the hypothermia that caused cramps could lead to vital health problems in the following hours, and the dive started at 05.00 and ended at 07.45. Karabay, whose body temperature dropped to 35.5 degrees when he left the sea, was brought to Medilife Beylikdüzü Hospital with our ambulance waiting for him during the world record attempt. Cem Karabay, whose health problems due to hypothermia was eliminated with the interventions, postponed his World Record attempt to a future date.
